02/03 -- Well, I was one of the lucky keenspace members who lost their comics in a hard drive crash... so I had to reupload everything again, once the new hard drive was in... And yes, I'm drawing a new comic as I type. Well, not as I type, but in another window from where I'm typing. Geez. Please email me to let me know if you find anything missing from the site!

02/06: Last weekend I dropped $1300 on a top of the line, 2.5Ghz P4 1GB GEFORCE4 DVDRW supercharged superpumped... bed. And mattress. That's a hell of a lot of money for something you just lie on, is it not? Although a guy at work asked whether I'd get more fun out of the bed or a computer, and, well... the bed's not ONLY gonna be lain on...
Dismantling my current bed, a waterbed, was like a archaeological dig into my past... Draining and removing the mattress revealed all sorts of treasures around the edges... sharp objects like pens and rulers and such... a condom wrapper with the expiration of May 1996... a Playstation memory card which I'd feared stolen (ah, my precious Castlevania saves...) and hair. A hell of a lot of hair. I counted hair from at least nine girls, which is bizarre, considering that since the last time the bed was assemble in '95 I'd only had five girls in my bed, and my ex had had only three girls in my bed, so WHO WAS THE EXTRA GIRL?! It's an archaeological mystery that will go down through the ages, my friends...

02/12: Okay, next time I go "The last panel in the comic is going to be the hardest to draw, so I'll draw it first!" I'll ignore myself and draw the first part of the comic first. That way when I'm not finished the harder last panel, I can post the first part of the comic and say "The rest is coming soon!" but now I'm forced to say "The whole comic is coming soon!"

02/13: 2:15am... and that last panel was a killer... There are about 40 different layers in it, for all you people who knows what that means... to bed I go... oh, and if you know anyone pictured in that panel, don't let them know... apparently they're going to be surprised with it later this week... shhhh...

02/26: Talk about 6 degrees of Eric Wellman... or maybe 3 degrees... so many times it's happened that people from difference circles I run in know each other... the best was when my girlfriend was always talking about her friend Bob (no relation) and then I accidentally discovered his full name is Bobbak, and I said "Does he have a twin brother?" and he did, and lo and behold, I re-met these two guys who I last saw 19 years ago. Fun stuff. And the latest: One of the guys in last week's picture knows one of the Vigilante 6... truly spooky!

02/27: To the left: My attempt at a message board replacement. Temporary? Permanent? I dunno... we shall see.

03/05: Grar. Too tired to stay up until 2am finishing the final panel... there's one more... hopefully it'll be up tomorrow evening...

03/11: Turns out the final panel of last week's comic makes a better first panel for this week's comic. So good thing I was tired, right? Speaking of last week, I just noticed that the wrong first panel was uploaded on the fifth... the new one should be up now, with a BONUS WORD BALLOON! The excitement never ends. Speaking of excited, I like the last panel today... and I couldn't have done it without my trusty Wacom! :)

03/18: After spending the weekend in Montreal, which included a 36 hour period in which I got 3 hours sleep, followed by early days at work yesterday and today (and extended meetings both days), and finally followed by whining about it all in the news post, I haven't been able to un-groggify myself to work on a comic just yet. Perhaps after a good night's sleep... soon... sooon...

03/20: Mandar posted the following in the tagboard:
Hi I am a student at Tampa Bay Tech High School. I am doing the project on dementia. I need some information on Dementia. Please send me the information on my email (email) Thank You!

Listed below is my response:
The basics of Dementia:
- Dementia comes in three stages:
1) Low level Dementia (1st Dementia): Where the demented patient begins acting slightly less-than-normal.
2) Mid level Dementia (2nd Dementia): Where the demented patient may become a burdon to others and is generally institutionalized.
3) Full level Dementia (3rd Dementia): Where the demented person loses all sense of reality and can begin believing they are in other worlds, or begin imagining interactions with others who are not really there.

- Dementia is sometimes caused by aluminum intake, so people who drink tea or use aluminum foil to wrap their food are at high risk for contracting Dementia. Recent research indicates that cat dander could also be a cause of a jump straight to the level of 3rd Dementia.

- Research has been known to cause Dementia in rats and small dogs.

If anyone has anything to add which I may have missed out, please let me know, and I'll be sure to forward information to Mandar.

(Oh, and I'm currently drawing the comic for this week, it should be up tonight or tomorrow)

03/26: Haiku? What The? I'm obviously sleep-deprived.

04/16: Some other webcomics that have made me go WOW recently:
WIGU - Spring into Action!
Crackwalker - Slow moving, but what a great story!
Cat and Girl - Indie Hipster Comic! Paint eating! Woot!
Same Difference - Just a story. A great story.
Anne Frank versus the Moon Nazis - I think that about sums it up.

04/30: I want to have Bic Runga's children. That is all. Oh, and I've added a couple of new details to the Cow Tipper picture, so hit back to check it out!

05/07: Sorry Bic, I know we've been through a lot together, and I know I promised to bear your children... but that was before I discovered Greentab.

05/15: (12:53am) I've just returned from a special early viewing of The Matrix: Reloaded, and let me tell you ladies one thing... The programming within that dessert is hardcoded (pun intended) in me... Booyah.

05/20: Mad propz go out to my friend Victor, who played a most excellent set this evening at Zaphod's... he played not one, but two of my requested songs, plus a third song which I didn't request but I was concentrating on REAL hard. And now after two pints of Guinness poured expertly by a really cute bartender (gender female, thank you very much) I should really start drawing the comic... *cough*

05/23: Oh, right, silly me... The aforementioned Victor is the template of a certain member of the Vigilante 6...

05/28: No comic today. "What?" you gasp... I know, I know. I have a reason this time. I wanted to do this comic in Flash. It's not ready yet. I could really draw the comic out as a comic in the meantime, but trust me, it's better this way. Should be ready SOON. (I hope)

07/01: Happy Canada Day! And now for your Canada entertainment, I present to you the following lyrics, dedicated to Raegen (Blair):

My brain's like a phone / Disconnected and with buttons
Fry me up a river babe / cuz this raccoon sure stinks
Goin' downtown with a pistol in my nose / Ride it on up cuz we're not in Kansas anymore.
-Matthew Good, "My next song"

F-16 riding up my ass / It's like I'm in prison again
Flick it out man cuz I gotta drink / Til my eyeball turns into a submarine sandwich
Did I ever mention that I'm a Canadian? / Yeah, I know, that explains it.
-Matthew Good, "The second song on my next CD"
