Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions that have been asked of me regarding Third Dementia. If you have any others, please feel free to E-mail Me!

Q - Why is the comic called Third Dementia?
A - What, I have to explain why I chose a title? Pete Abrams still hasn't explained what Sluggy Freelance means... I mean geez! Oh, wait, that wasn't a very helpful answer. Um... Well, there are three dimensions, Height, Width, and Depth, y'see, and Bob's tall, so there's the Height part. The comic can be Deep at times... and... uh... Okay, it sounded like a cool name at the time so I used it.

Q - Why do the earlier comics have such horrid paint jobs?
A - The Prologue and Chapter one were drawn on some really thick "Granite Bond" paper I had laying around. This means the paper was greyish, with little speckles on it. Scanning such paper made it hard to floodfill, and I had no idea how to use Photoshop, so a lot of if was manually done.

Q - Why do the creatures in Chapter 2 have such weird necks?
A - Originally I had just drawn them that way, not thinking of any real reason. But after being asked this question, it hit me. Since they seem to be build backwards, their necks are actually a protrusion of intestine. Or something.

Well, this section is relatively useless. All questions these days are frequently asked and answered in the message forums. So go there instead while I think up a better use for this page. :)
